Horns and Ear Tags?

Did you know that goats naturally have horns? Only the occasional goat is polled (breeds that are naturally hornless). Most farmers, including Jim and Sylvia, remove the horns at an early age (disbudding) for the sake of safety for both people and other animals.

Each goat on this farm also receives two ear tags one in each ear. The tags identify the doe they come from and when they were born.
