How Can You Tell The Hens Apart From The Toms?

When the birds are small, it is nearly impossible to tell the males and females apart from each other. The poults are sexed at the hatchery and raised separately. Once they mature, the Toms are larger and have longer legs. Toms are also the only ones that strut and gobble. They have a larger head and wattle and a longer snood. The birds in this barn are all Toms.
