All barns are well ventilated to ensure that the pigs and the humans have fresh air to breathe.

Each room in John's barn has separate controls for ventilation. This allows John to make sure each group of pigs is living in the most comfortable temperature. Younger, smaller pigs like a warmer room than older, larger pigs. In fact, the pens for the newborn pigs even have heated floors while the large sows get cool water sprinklers over them to keep them comfortable!

Did you know that… pigs don't sweat. Today's pig barns help keep pigs cool in the summer and warm in the winter with lots of fans to help circulate the air.
